Ingredients
Dry ginger: 100 g
Dry pepper: 100 g
Dry pippali (long pepper): 100 g
Sugar candy and/or Honey: As required
Preparation
Separately powder dried ginger, pepper and pippali. Mix thoroughly and then sieve through a muslin cloth to get a fine powder. This can be stored in an air-tight container for up to 6 months.
While administering, mix ½ teaspoon of powder with 3 tsp of crushed sugar candy and/or little honey
Uses
Helps to improve digestion and absorption of nutrients. Enhances immunity against stomach infections and upper respiratory tract infections. Helps to mitigate indigestion, and common cold and mild fevers.
Dosage
For children:
6 months-1 year: 3-4 drops (mixed with honey)
1-3 years: ¼ teaspoon of mixture
4-6 years: ½ teaspoon of mixture
6-12 years: 1 teaspoon of mixture
12 years +: 1 ½ teaspoons of mixture
Use twice daily for a month to enhance immunity; 3 times a day for 4-5 days as curative.
